Levitate Flannel Jam kicked off in Marshfield, Massachusetts on October 12, 2024. This was the first of three events throughout the holiday weekend. They hosted their first Backyard Brunch on Sunday, where Trampled By Turtles put on a special set. Finally, they hit Cisco Brewers on Nantucket on Monday to close things out.
We were fortunate enough to get a beautiful day weather wise. The sun was shining and the temperature was floating around 70° most of the afternoon at the Marshfield Fairgrounds. The day began with music by Miss Julia Violet on the Holla Stage. Jay Psaros Band kicked things off on the main stage (Hoot Stage). Birch Swart’s Grateful Country, Birdtalker, and finally Hans Williams closed out the Holla Stage. The Hoot Stage saw performances by Evan Honer, Margo Price, and headliners Trampled By Turtles. There was also plenty food trucks and merch vendors to choose from. Food was being served by staples like The Sausage Guy, Cheese Louise, and Roht Marine. Oh, and we can’t leave out the cider and donuts! There was also artists painting massive murals, as well as the kids section like they have every year. Levitate Flannel Jam 2024 was once again a great success.
KEEPING UP WITH LEVITATE FLANNEL JAM
Levitate will surely be back in 2025 with all kinds of events. They have already announced their main festival will be taking place July 11-13, 2025. As for Flannel Jam, they are just saying to stay tuned for dates as of now. They will also be announcing their Levitate Backyard shows in the future.
