Taylor Swift brought The Eras Tour to Gillette Stadium for another massive three night run. The shows spanned from May 19-21, 2023. Each night was truly unique, but we were lucky to be there for the Saturday night “rain show”. Saturday was her twelfth appearance in Foxboro.
The evening began with two incredible openers. First up was Gayle. The 18 year old rising star proved she belongs on stadium stages. She delivered an amazing set, and gave the fans what they wanted by ending with abcdefu. Up next, Phoebe Bridgers came out to set the stage for Taylor. She began her set with Motion Sickness. From there, she went on to play fan favorites such as Kyoto, Scott Street, and I Know The End.
TAYLOR SWIFT
The forecast held true while T Swift’s set approached, as it was absolutely down pouring. Of course this had Swifties reminiscing about her famous 2011 rain show at Gillette. Once Taylor took stage, she began with her Lover album. she performed hits like Cruel Summer, The Man, and You Need to Calm Down. After her Lover Era, she moved into Fearless, Evermore, and Reputation. Speak Now, Red, and Folklore then followed. She wrapped things up with 1989 and Midnights, with her two anticipated “mystery songs” in between. We were treated to Cardigan off of Folklore, as well as Blank Space and Style from 1989. Anti-Hero was the highlight of the Midnights era. Question…? and Invisible were the two suprise songs. You can check out the complete setlist from the night.
