Bumpin Uglies came to Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on August 9, 2024. Higher Education, who opened the show, was formed in Maryland by brothers Petey and Danny Devaney. Bradley Wilson joined them on drums. They delivered an energetic set, with the brothers swapping out guitars throughout. They were also joined on stage by Brandon Hardesty shortly before closing out their set.
The Mallett Brothers Band came to Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on May 2, 2024. This show was part of their spring tour. The tour began at the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut on March 29, 2024. In all, the tour will span 20 shows in nine states.
Duppy Conquerors, a Bob Marley tribute band, came to Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on February 9, 2024. This show was for the Bob Marley Birthday Celebration, and they brought all the classics and fan favorites with them. DJ Jah Rich joined as a special guest for this show as well. This show also happened on the heels of the release of the Bob Marley movie, Bob Marley: One Love. The movie hit theaters February 14, 2024. Max Creek came to Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on Friday December 15, 2023. This was the first of back to back nights at the venue for their Holiday Creekend. This band has been jamming over a span of five decades already. Scott Murawski, Mark Mercier, and John Rider have all been a part of the lineup since the 70’s. Pink Talking Fish came to Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on November 24, 2023. They were joined by Quadrafunk, who opened things up for the evening. Quadrafunk and frontman Mark King are no strangers to Soundcheck Studios. They were part of the venues very first show on October 6, 2018. Bluestar Radiation hit Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on November 19, 2023. They were joined by Al & Rob of moe., who opened the show up. This was the final night of the run, which spanned four nights. Al & Rob will continue their Moe.stly Acoustic run of shows with five more nights on the east coast. Joe Samba stopped by one of his old stomping grounds at Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts. The show took place on November 10, 2023. Joey Harkum has been accompanying Joe for the tour. Highlights from their set included Hold On and All My Life. You may be familiar with Joey from his band Pasadena. They have a show scheduled for December 9, 2023, set to take place at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia.
Magic Beans stopped by Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on November 3, 2023. This show was the first of back to back nights at Soundcheck, and the second to last stop on their 16 show fall tour run. They were joined by Guess Method, who opened things up for the night. Guess Method is a Rhode Island based band, and they have a show scheduled for November 25, 2023 at Ragged Island Brewing Company in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
The Mallett Brothers Band came to Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on October 6, 2023. This show was part of their current fall tour. They are an independent band from Maine. Their busy tour schedule since forming in 2009 has helped them to build a dedicated fanbase across the United States and beyond. With a style that ranges from alt-country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock, theirs is a musical melting pot that’s influenced equally by the singer/songwriter tradition as by harder rock, classic country and psychedelic sounds. Consider the Source swung through Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on November 18, 2022. This was part of their Maxx Power Tour. Bella’s Bartok was also along for the ride, kicking the night off. They delivered an energy filled set, full of sounds from many genres. Punk, Folk, Pop, and Americana are just a few of the styles you will hear from this group. If you’re hoping to catch Bella’s Bartok soon, you should have no problem, as the band has several announced dates in 2023 already. They will be touring down the East Coast from Connecticut to Florida starting in February, as well as a few other shows and festivals to follow.
