June 14-15, 2024 in Swanzey, New Hampshire, the Northlands Music Festival welcomed thousands of fans to the two-day event. It was more than music; it was a celebration of community, creativity, and faith. There was two days of carefully curated live music over two stages, art installations, local food and beverage vendors, artisan crafts and more. People came together to experience the joy of personal connection through music and the arts.
To say that covering Brightside Music Festival was not on my 2024 BiNGO card would be a very packed understatement. I have been covering reggae bands since 2017. So, when asked to link up with Dance Your Face Off for a review of a punk-rock show with some of my favorite bands, I had to satisfy the angsty teenage girl that had been raging inside of me. I am writing this from my bed the Wednesday after the show while eating ice cream. So get comfy.

We are hitting the road soon for our first festival of the season, and couldn’t be more excited! In two weeks, we’ll be heading down to The Sunshine State for Reggae Rise Up. The festival is being held at Vinoy Park, Saint Petersburg, Florida, on the weekend of March 4-5, 2017. Tickets are currently at the third tier price level, and can be purchased here!
