PWHL BOSTON VS OTTAWA

PWHL Ottawa visited Boston at the Tsongas Center on February 21, 2024. This was a rematch of their game just a few days earlier at the Tsongas, which Ottawa came out on top 4-2. That loss was Boston’s fourth in a row, but that streak came to an end Wednesday night. Boston topped Ottawa 3-1 in a solid team effort. Black History Month was celebrated throughout the game, as this was their final home game in February.

311 at Mohegan Sun Arena on 2/15/2024

311 – MOHEGAN SUN ARENA

311 came to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on February 15, 2024. Sitting on Stacy opened things up for the show. Sitting on Stacy kicked off their set with Hope She’s the One. They threw in fan favorites like Crème Brûlée, Tokyo, and Chest Hair. Feel free to check out their full setlist

Duppy Conquerors at Soundcheck Studios on 2/9/2024

DUPPY CONQUERORS – SOUNDCHECK STUDIOS

Duppy Conquerors, a Bob Marley tribute band, came to Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on February 9, 2024. This show was for the Bob Marley Birthday Celebration, and they brought all the classics and fan favorites with them. DJ Jah Rich joined as a special guest for this show as well. This show also happened on the heels of the release of the Bob Marley movie, Bob Marley: One Love. The movie hit theaters February 14, 2024. CHRISTOPHER – BRIGHTON MUSIC HALL

Christopher stopped by the Brighton Music Hall in Massachusetts on February 6, 2024. This show was part of the A Beautiful Live Tour. The tour is in support of A Beautiful Life, a Netflix film released in June of 2023. Jessica Woodlee was also on the bill as she opened things up for the evening. PWHL – BOSTON VS MINNESOTA

PWHL Boston took on PWHL Minnesota at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts on January 27, 2024. This was a rematch of Boston’s home opener, which they lost 3-2. Boston came into this matchup looking for their first home win, as they started out 0-2 at the Tsongas Center. Fortunately, they have gone 3-0 on the road to begin the season. 

G. Love and Special Sauce at the City Winery Boston on January 24, 2024.

G. LOVE AND SPECIAL SAUCE – CITY WINERY BOSTON

G. Love and Special Sauce stopped by the City Winery Boston on January 24, 2024. This was the first of back to back nights at the venue. These shows were part of the 30th Anniversary Tour, which consists of 42 total shows. Jakobs Castle is also along for the ride, opening things up each night. Jakobs Castle is fronted by Jakob Nowell, son of the late Bradley Nowell of Sublime. They played a nice little mix of originals and Sublime covers. Originals included Catch Me and Time Traveler, while April 29, 1992 (Miami) and Garden Grove were amongst the Sublime songs featured.

Get The Led Out at the Lynn Auditorium

GET THE LED OUT – LYNN AUDITORIUM

Get The Led Out came to the Lynn Auditorium in Lynn, Massachusetts on January 19, 2024. An eager crowd packed the house. This show was the second of a three night Massachusetts run. They were at the Plymouth Memorial Hall the previous night, and then the Symphony Hall in Springfield, Massachusetts the following night. All photographs were provided by Joanna Gleason.

MIHALI – THE MET

Mihali stopped by The Met in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on December 30, 2023. This show was part of his Mihalidaze run of shows. Rosewood Apothecary were also on the bill, as they kicked things off for the evening. They delivered an eight song set, including top songs like Down Mamma and Castaways. PWHL BOSTON VS PWHL MINNESOTA – TSONGAS CENTER

The PWHL Boston team kicked off their first ever game against the PWHL Minnesota. The game took place on January 3, 2024 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. Former Boston Bruin Captain Patrice Bergeron and his family were in the house. They came out to drop the ceremonial first puck. Captain Hilary Knight handed the puck off to Patrice as he left the ice. The National Anthem was then performed by Michelle Brooks-Thompson, setting the stage for the opening faceoff.
