G. LOVE AND SPECIAL SAUCE – CITY WINERY BOSTON

G. Love and Special Sauce stopped by the City Winery Boston on January 24, 2024. This was the first of back to back nights at the venue. These shows were part of the 30th Anniversary Tour, which consists of 42 total shows. Jakobs Castle is also along for the ride, opening things up each night. Jakobs Castle is fronted by Jakob Nowell, son of the late Bradley Nowell of Sublime. They played a nice little mix of originals and Sublime covers. Originals included Catch Me and Time Traveler, while April 29, 1992 (Miami) and Garden Grove were amongst the Sublime songs featured.

BOSTON MUSIC AWARDS – BIG NIGHT LIVE

The 2023 Boston Music Awards took place at Big Night Live in Boston, Massachusetts on December 20, 2023. The award show was presented by Jack Daniel’s. Founded in 1987, the BMA’s is one of the longest running music award shows in the region. Nominees included huge names like Noah Kahan, Joyner Lucas, The Elovaters, PVRIS, Ripe and more.

DARLINGSIDE – THE SINCLAIR

Darlingside came to The Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts on December 9, 2023. Field Guide was also on the bill as the opener for the evening. This show was their second of the day, as they played an early seated show also at The Sinclair. They have been touring heavily in support of their latest album, Everything Is Alive. EGGY – BRIGHTON MUSIC HALL

Eggy came to Boston’s Brighton Music Hall on November 16, 2023. They were joined by the Funky Dawgz, who opened up the show. The Funky Dawgz Brass Band  are a six piece brass band out of Connecticut. NEEDTOBREATHE – MGM MUSIC HALL AT FENWAY

Needtobreathe brought The Caves World Tour to the sold out MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts on November 11, 2023. Judah and the Lion opened things up, bringing their high energy folk rock. The band consists of Judah Akers (lead vocals,guitar), Brian Macdonald (mandolin,backup vocals), Nate Zuercher (banjo) Garrett Tyler (drums), Carson Cody (keys) and Dylan Oglesby (electric guitar). They are from Nashville, Tennessee and have released four studio albums. The band’s shows are high energy affairs, with the signature banjo driven folk rock songs. MOON TAXI – PARADISE ROCK CLUB

Moon Taxi hit the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Massachusetts on November 8, 2023. This was part of their Set Yourself Free Tour. They are an American Indie-alternative rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee. The band was founded in 2006 by Trevor Terndrup (vocals,guitar) Tommy Putnam (bass) Spencer Thompson (guitar programing) Tyler Ritter (Drums) and Wes Bailey (keys) while attending Belmont University. They are able to push the boundaries of their genre with songs ranging from Rock, to Bluegrass. They have released six studio albums, and signed to RCA records in 2017. The Revivalists at Leader Bank Pavilion

THE REVIVALISTS – LEADER BANK PAVILION

The Revivalists stopped by the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts. The show took place on August 11, 2023. The Heavy Heavy and Band of Horses opened things up for the night. The Heavy Heavy had a short but sweet set, highlighted by Miles and Miles. Band of Horses came out next, kicking things off with The First Song. From there, they played 13 more songs, including a cover of Brooks and Dunn’s Neon Moon. As for their own hits, they delivered fan favorites like No One’s Gonna Love You, Is There a Ghost, and The Funeral. You can check out their completes setlist from the evening.

Pink Talking Fish at the Paradise Rock Club

PINK TALKING FISH – THE PARADISE ROCK CLUB

Pink Talking Fish rocked out the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Massachusetts for a devoted crowd. The show took place on Sept 23, 2023 to celebrate their 10-year anniversary. Their music is an enthusiastic fusion of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish, but this is no normal tribute band. They take the audience on a mind-blowing musical trip that they have never been on before. The band members are Eric Gould (bass), Cal Kehoe (guitar), Zac Burwick (Drums) and Richard James (keyboard). The story is ever evolving, and the experience is always exciting.
