Magic Beans stopped by Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on November 3, 2023. This show was the first of back to back nights at Soundcheck, and the second to last stop on their 16 show fall tour run. They were joined by Guess Method, who opened things up for the night. Guess Method is a Rhode Island based band, and they have a show scheduled for November 25, 2023 at Ragged Island Brewing Company in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
Once Magic Beans hit the stage, they kicked off the first of two sets with Inventor. Better man, Love Song, and Dr. Bubbleman were all mixed in through their eight song initial set. After a breif break, they began set two with Sharon is Karen. They also featured What in the World, Won’t Get Out Alive, and Casino Cabaret. We did get an encore as well, as they hit us with Hanky Panky to close out night one at Soundcheck Studios.
KEEPING UP WITH MAGIC BEANS
Magic Beans have a few more shows before years end. They will be at Fusion in Albuquerque, New Mexico on November 21, 2023. They will also hit the Sheridan Opera House in Telluride, Colorado on November 24, 2023. There is also a three night New Years Eve run of shows scheduled for December 29-31, 2023 in Denver, Colorado. As for 2024, they have announced the Snowstalk Festival at 10 Mile Music Hall in Frisco, Colorado. This is a two day fest also featuring Yak Attack, Banshee Tree, The Runaway Grooms and more. They also just announced the return of the Beanstalk Festival at Rancho Del Rio. This event is set to take place August 8-10, 2024.
