Levitate Music Festival is returning to the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield, Massachusetts on July 12-13, 2025. The festival is shifting back to two days this year. They are also introducing a few new twists listed below.
Levitate Foundation Songwriter’s Stage:
Announcing Levitate Foundation’s national songwriters competition, designed to give emerging artists a chance to perform in front of tens of thousands of fans. Finalists will win an all-expenses-paid trip to perform on this all new stage. The overall winner will be named the ‘Levitate Songwriter of the Year’ and a grant to fund an album produced by a notable studio professional in their genre. Unsigned artists may submit a clip of of their song now at www.LevitateFoundation.org
Spoonfuls x Levitate Culinary Experience + Lounge:
We are proud to further bring the Culinary Arts to life at this year’s festival in partnership with Spoonfuls, a 501(c). The “Spoonfuls Culinary Experience + Lounge” is a very special opportunity to enjoy world-class food and drink from notable chefs each evening, with a portion of all proceeds to benefit Spoonfuls efforts in reducing food waste and feeding nearly 400,000 people across Massachusetts each year.
Levitate Artist of the Year + Showcase:
Along with the Songwriter Stage, we’re excited to take our commitment to the arts even further with the launch of the Artist Showcase, presented by Levitate Foundation, where one shining artist – the Artist Of The Year – will win a featured signature gallery at Levitate Music Festival to display their work, and grant for an artist residency.
THE LINEUP
The lineup is composed of a solid mix of genres this year. The most notable name is a familiar one, as Stick Figure is making a return after not being here last year due to a national tour. They will be joined by acts like Dispatch (also hometown legends), The Revivalists, Still Woozy and Thundercat. Other major bands with local ties such as The Elovaters and Ripe will also be gracing the stage. Protoje, Dogs in a Pile, Mihali and Aldous Collins Band are drawing some excitement from ticket buyers as well. There are several other confirmed artists as well, including the aforementioned Songwriter Stage’s performers.
BEYOND THE MUSIC
This festival is known for more than just music. They boast an impressive variety of food trucks, so keep an eye out for the lineup to be released. They also have live art scattered throughout the fairgrounds, as well as a kids zone. Another favorite of attendees is the skate ramp. There will also be several festival merch stations, as well as vendors with all kinds of different goods.
