JZAC just released (March 24, 2025) his seventh album, Breakfast at Jerry’s. The album consists of 10 tracks, three of which have been released early as singles. The first single was Shake The tree, released on March 6, 2025. He followed that up with Fee Fi Fo Fum on March 13, 2025. Finally, he dropped Smelling Salts on March 20, 2025.
I discovered JZAC thanks to Spotify’s recommendations. I had thrown on a Ren album, and once it ended it started playing songs of similar artists. After a few songs, 2023 by JZAC came on and stopped me dead in my tracks. Down the rabbit hole I went, and I haven’t stopped listening since. His word play and story telling are top notch. His songs are like movies you have to rewatch a few times to catch everything you missed.
Breakfast at Jerry’s is classic JZAC. He touches on many subjects like old friends, sobriety, and life as an independent artist. There is one feature on the album, as Emilio Rojas joins in on the track For The Life of Me. The album wraps up with a bonus track titled Couldn’t Be From Me. The lyricism, word play, and story telling displayed throughout the album showcase why he is able to compete with the big boys despite being an independent artist. Go do yourself a favor, and give Breakfast at Jerry’s a spin!
