John Butler performed at The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee on May 6, 2023. This show took place in the midst of the JBT tour that just wrapped up. This was our first time catching a show at this venue, and it truly was a special experience.
John began his set with Spring to Come. throughout the set he mixed in fan favorites such as Better Than, Betterman, and Losing You. As always, we were treated to a rendition of the ever evolving song Ocean. I always think about the time I saw Ocean played live at Madison Square Garden (2015), but I will never forget seeing it performed in a cave. He wrapped up his 13 song set with two personal favorites of mine, Revolution and Zebra. To cap the night off, we were treated to a two song encore. First up was Peaches & Cream off their Sunrise Over Sea album. Finally, Pickapart was performed as the grand finale. For those interested, you can check out the complete setlist from the evening.

John Butler Trio currently have no more scheduled dates in the United States this year (other than a cruise out of Florida in November).
