Fresh off his release of Paradise, Joey Calderaio is back. Are you ready to catch a wave straight out of South Florida? Then grab your surf board and your favorite boom box, and get ready for the new track. Wave of Life featuring Ballyhoo is rolling in with the tide to beaches everywhere this Friday, July 2, 2021.

Joey Calderiao has been at it for over a decade now. Playing locally in Florida, as well as having toured the country with some top notch reggae acts over the years. Following up to his release of “Moving Mountains” in 2019 and a few singles, he’s back with a track that is sure to help you through the “Wave of Life”.

Wave of Life starts off with a melodic guitar riff that’s quickly followed by a blazing horn section. This will quickly perk up your ears for the amazing track that lies ahead. The lyrics hold an extremely powerful message about how to get through the tough times and push forward through life, and the acceptance of what we can’t change. This is certainly a message that couldn’t have come to our ears at a better time. The track features Donald Spangler (drums) and Howi Spangler (vocals) of Ballyhoo. The upbeat sound will have you dancing across the beach, while the lyrics will have you sitting and reminiscing about the challenges in life that you have overcome as well as continue to face. A very strong collaboration which are reflections of the strong musicianship of Joey Calderiao and the band Ballyhoo.
