PWHL’s Boston Fleet hosted the Minnesota Frost at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts on December 4, 2024. This was their second game of the season, as they fell to the Toronto Sceptres 3-1 in their opening tilt on November 30, 2024.
Bell Biv Devoe came to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on November 23, 2024 with 98 Degrees. Things kicked off with 98 Degrees, and they began their set with a mash up of Can’t Get Enough/Heat It Up/Finesse. Throughout the night, they played a solid mix of their top hits and covers of other bands. Highlights of their songs included Because Of You and The Hardest Thing. Proud Mary (Creedence Clearwater Revival), Oops!… I Did It Again (Britney Spears), Thong Song (Sisqó) and Larger Than Life (Backstreet Boys) were a few of the covers thrown in. They came out for an encore, performing Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche) to end their 16 song set.
Comics Come Home returned to TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on November 2, 2024 for their 28th year supporting The Cam Neely Foundation. The event has raised over $15 million for the foundation over the years. It is also the longest running comedy fundraiser in the country. This year, the lineup featured well known comedians Sam Morril, Robert Kelly, Lil Rel Howery, Zarna Garg, Alec Flynn, Lenny Clarke, Ronny Chieng, and Bill Burr.
Dispatch came to the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts on October 19, 2024. This was the second of back to back shows at the venue. They were joined by 10 Ft. Ganja Plant, after Matt Quinn of Mt. Joy opened for them the first night. These shows were part of the Amplifying Democracy Tour.
Levitate Flannel Jam kicked off in Marshfield, Massachusetts on October 12, 2024. This was the first of three events throughout the holiday weekend. They hosted their first Backyard Brunch on Sunday, where Trampled By Turtles put on a special set. Finally, they hit Cisco Brewers on Nantucket on Monday to close things out.
The Marley Brothers came to the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on September 26, 2024 for The Legacy Tour. Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani, and Damian all performed songs from their father, the legendary Bob Marley. The tour is a 22 show run, with shows in the United States and Canada.
Korn hit the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on September 21, 2024. They were joined by Spiritbox and Gojira. This show was part of their North America Tour 2024. Spiritbox led things off for the night, beginning with Cellar Door. They performed top songs like Jaded, Soft Spine, and Circle With Me. They closed out their six song set with Holy Roller.
Pearl Jam brought their Dark Matter World Tour to Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. The show took place on September 15, 2024. This was the first of two Boston shows, as they will also be playing Fenway Park again on Tuesday September 17, 2024. Glen Hansard (The Frames) opened the show up. The Irish singer-songwriter began his set with Didn’t He Ramble. He brought out Olivia Vedder for a live premier of My Father’s Daughter. We were also treated to a song by The Frames, with Revelate being the song of choice. He wrapped up his opening set with This Gift.
Weezer came to the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on September 10, 2024. This show was part of their The Voyage To The Blue Planet Tour. They were joined by Dinosaur Jr. and The Flaming Lips. Dinosaur Jr. kicked things off for the night, beginning their set with Little Fury Things. They threw in Feel the Pain, Start Choppin’, and Freak Scene. They also performed a rendition of The Cure’s Just Like Heaven. The song of choice to end their set was Gargoyle.
Lynyrd Skynyrd came to the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on August 17, 2024 along with ZZ Top and Outlaws. The Outlaws were up first, and they performed some of their top hits including There Goes Another Love Song, Hurry Sundown, and Green Grass & High Tides. ZZ Top followed up with a 16 song set. They began with Got Me Under Pressure. From there, they mixed in top hits like Gimmie All Your Lovin’, Sharp Dressed Man, and Legs. They closed out their 16 song set with La Grange.
