LIV Golf Boston at The International Golf Club

LIV GOLF – BOSTON

LIV Golf made their Massachusetts debut this past weekend. This was held at The International Golf Club in Bolton, Massachusetts. The field consisted of 48 total players. This was not only an individual competition, but there is also a team element. There are 12 teams of four players per team. The field was internationally represented by over ten countries. Commissioner Greg Norman was in the house, parachuting down onto the course with the Navy Seals to kick things off. Bubba Watson, who is newly signed to the tour, was also there doing commentary and mingling with fans. Boston legend David “Big Papi” Ortiz also contributed via a video message. There was musical performances on Saturday and Sunday. Artists that performed were Dalton and the Sheriffs, St. Lucia, and Diplo.

Incubus at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA

INCUBUS – XFINITY CENTER

Incubus came to the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on Wednesday August 3, 2022. They were joined by Sublime with Rome and The Aquadolls. Up first was The Aquadolls, an all female band based out of Los Angeles, California. Up next was Sublime with Rome, of course another band with California origins. Eric Wilson, the bass player for the original Sublime, is still performing with the band.

PHISH – XFINITY CENTER

Phish performed at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The show took place on Thursday July 14, 2022. This was their first of back to back nights at the venue. It also officially kicked off the summer portion of their tour. Overall, the spring and summer tour will span thirty-four dates.  

Rage Against The Machine at the PPG Paints Arena

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE – PPG PAINTS ARENA

Rage Against The Machine Performed at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Friday July 29, 2022. This show was part of the Public Service Announcement Tour, originally scheduled to take place in 2020. Run The Jewels were also on the bill for the evening. Zach De La Rocha (lead singer of Rage Against The Machine) injured his leg early in the tour, but has been powering through and still performing night after night.

The Weeknd performing at Gillette Stadium

THE WEEKND – GILLETTE STADIUM

The Weeknd came to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts on Thursday July 21, 2022. This was part of the After Hours Til Dawn Tour. He was accompanied by Mike Dean and Kaytranada. It was a hot steamy start to the night as temperatures creeped into the low 90’s. Mike Dean and Kaytranada kicked things off with a couple DJ sets.

Dierks Bentley at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts

DIERKS BENTLEY – XFINITY CENTER

Dierks Bentley stopped through the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts as part of his Beers on me Tour. This show took place on Friday June 24, 2022. Travis Denning and Elle King also performed on the evening. Travis Denning and his band began the night with a short but sweet set. These guys are moving up the ranks fast, and have already toured with some of Country’s biggest mega-stars. Elle King came up next, replacing the originally scheduled Ashley McBryde.  

Lionel Richie at Mohegan Sun Arena

LIONEL RICHIE – MOHEGAN SUN ARENA

Lionel Richie swung through Uncasville, Connecticut to perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena. This show took place on Saturday June 25, 2022. He delivered a 17 song set, including the encore. Throughout the night we witnessed songs from the famed funk band the Commodores. We also saw many of his solo songs, as well as a nice little version of We Are the World by USA for Africa.

Dead & Company at Gillette Stadium

DEAD & COMPANY – GILLETTE STADIUM

Dead & Company came rolling through Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 2, 2022. They were scheduled to play two sets from the start, but mother nature forced them to cut their first set after just two songs. The delay lasted about an hour before things could get rolling again.

LADY A – MOHEGAN SUN ARENA

Lady A was at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday July 29, 2021. They were accompanied by Niko Moon and Carly Pearce. This show was part of the What A Song Can Do Tour. Niko Moon started the night off with a solid, energy filled set. Carly Pearce followed up with an amazing set as well, setting the stage for the headliners.
