Bumpin Uglies came to Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on August 9, 2024. Higher Education, who opened the show, was formed in Maryland by brothers Petey and Danny Devaney. Bradley Wilson joined them on drums. They delivered an energetic set, with the brothers swapping out guitars throughout. They were also joined on stage by Brandon Hardesty shortly before closing out their set.
Bumpin Uglies, formed in Maryland, took to the stage just before 9:30. The band consists of Brandon Hardesty (Vocals/Guitar), Dave “Wolfie” Wolf (Bass/Backing Vocals), T.J. Haslett (Drums), Ethan Lichtenberger (Keys/Trombone/Trumpet/Backing Vocals) and Will Lopez (Saxophone). They played fan favorites such as Bad Decisions, Wild Girls, and Island Time. They put on an amazing performance, with a killer lightshow to go along with it.
KEEPING UP WITH BUMPIN UGLIES
Bumpin Uglies have a few more hometown shows and a festival appearance before they get right back at it on the road. The festival appearance will be at Shangri-La Festival in Clarks Grove, Minnesota. They kick off their Lyrics Over Everything Tour September 11, 2024 in Casper, Wyoming. Tunnel Vision, Joey Harkum, and Dubbest will be joining them along the way. The tour is in support of their new album, Lyrics Over Everything (June 21, 2024). The last show will be on November 23, 2024 at The Met in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. In December they will be doing a short run with Pasadena. Finally, they will be in Columbus, Ohio on December 30, 2024 for their last scheduled date of the year as of now.
